Rory captured the Open by two shots over Sergio Garcia and Ricky Fowler. The 2014 Open championship was played at Royal Liverpool Golf Club, Hoylake, England. “I’m happy I gave myself a cushion because there were a lot of guys coming at me especially Sergio and Rickie Fowler.”

Rory”s Open title along with his 2013 PGA Championship and 2011 U.S.Open leaves the Masters title necessary for Rory to complete the career Grand Slam.
